7 Bars And Entertainment Joints In Nairobi Where Lesbians And Gays Hide

It has now emerged that Westlands hosts most joints where gays and lesbians go to party.

Many members of the LGBTQ+ community still operate underground because of stigma and the mere fact that homosexuality is still a crime in Kenya.

The Kenyan Penal Code, which dates back to the British colonial period, holds liable to imprisonment any person involved in “unnatural offences” or “carnal knowledge against the order of nature” (up to 14 years), and any males involved in “indecent practices” (up to five years).

Kenya’s Penal Code, which criminalises same-sex activity, remain intact especially following a High Court ruling in May 2019 which rejected a petition calling for the decriminalisation of homosexuality in the country.

Even though the Kenyan constitution forbids criminalises same-sex activity, homosexuality is thriving in the country right under the nose of authorities.

Gays and lesbians even have their own entertainment joints where they go to party.

These joints are listed on homosexual sites which offer their members guidance on where to safely party in cities across the globe.
