Embakasi East MP Babu Owino has been forced to address the nation after a video of ‘him’ engaging in a fight with women went viral.
It is alleged that the incident occurred during the Konshens’ Concert on Friday, December 31 at Carnivore grounds.
In the video, the person claimed to be the lawmaker is seen throwing a woman thus exposing her underwear as the fight continued.
The cause of the fight that allegedly occurred at the VIP section however remains unclear but luckily no serious injuries were reported.
Babu has denied being involved in the fight and said that during the time of the concert, he was busy with his wife.
“With due respect,I was not at the Konshens’ party,and the man purported to be me in the video doing rounds is NOT me.The time Konshens was performing I was also performing on my wife and she can attest to this.People at the Konshens’ party should also confirm that I was not there,” Owino said via a tweet.

The video has caused a stir online with some netizens claiming that Babu can never miss whenever there is violence.
“When I see Babu Owino all over I know something Illegal and probably dangerous is going down. Ok whose wife is it this time?” Magenya posed.
“Babu Owino wanted threesome with the Uon ladies but the deal went sour!” Eddie Kimori said.
“Babu Owino is a goon and a master of violence he almost removed his trigger during Koshens concert like he did to DJ Evolve,” Peter Rolling claimed.
Another section of netizens were convinced that the person in the video was not Babu and people were just hating him for no reason.
“Babu Owino did bad when he shot DJ Evolve,we all got a reason to hate him,but putting him in that carnivore video is a stretch,chuki isifanye ukose kutumia akili,” Rasta baby tweeted.
