Section of youth is threatening not to vote for Jalang’o whom they accuse of killing Gengetone music and denying them opportunities.
Mix master Jones Achido aka VDJ Jones is the leading voice accusing Jalang’o of orchestrating the downfall of Gengetone music.
In an interview with Plug TV, VDJ Jones accused the former Kiss FM presenter of denying Gengetone music airplay yet he wants the youth to support him his political aspirations.
“Jalang’o kept saying Gengetone itaisha, he even denied us airplay. The same guys he refused to support are the ones who will support him,” VDJ Jones lamented.
He added that;
“If he had supported the young guys, they would have easily supported him now. The world is a circle, he shouldn’t forget that, but namuombea apite.”
Jalang’o is vying for the Lang’ata parliamentary seat, he is seeking to clinch ODM nomination so as to fly the party’s flag in August 9th general election.
