Karen Nyamu is a lousy drinker as seen by drama she caused in Dubai. She takes hard drugs as well.
Nyamu caused a stir when she was seen chewing miraa (khat) at a veve base.
The UDA-nominated senator was sandwiched between a group of men as she chewed the stimulant drug.
Rocking in a hip hop designed cap, a black top and washed bleu jeans, Karen Nyamu is seen holding in her left hand a bundle of miraa while on the other, left hand helps the teeth to tear out the content from the Jaba stem.
From miraa, alcohol to marijuana, Karen Nyamu spares no drug when it comes to getting high.
The mother of three is also known to be an alcohol guzzler.
Nyamu fought Samidoh’s first wife Edday Nderitu during Mugithi night in Dubai in December 2022 after getting drunk.
After the fight, Nyamu blamed her bad behaviour on alcohol and vowed to stop drinking.
“Guys, what transpired yesterday? Did I misbehave? I awoke to discover that I had been tagged all over. You don’t sleep, do you? Alcohol is not soup. I am going to give up alcohol. I’m never going to consume alcohol again,” a visibly disoriented Nyamu remarked in a self-recorded video clip.
“Kindly pray for me to stay away from drama in 2023,” she added.
Nyamu however showed no regret for her actions even as she told off her critics.
“You know guys, I have no regrets from last night, I don’t wish I did things any different. I however promise you that this is the last time your girl will ever be involved in a situation like that ever again.
“Great and powerful women will attest that many times our weakest link is the men we get involved with. I am stopping the pattern. I have made a conscious decision to end for good my involvement with the father of my babies and now ex, Samidoh Muchoki.
“I don’t love drama and I don’t wreck homes. I am going to give up alcohol. I’m never going to consume alcohol again,” Karen Nyamu wrote on her Insta stories.
Karen Nyamu is also a weed smoker and she publicly proved it in August 2019 when she was seen smoking a joint at Umeme Grounds in Nairobi’s Ziwani area during the finals of the annual Koth Biro football tournament that she had partly sponsored.
