Mudavadi was made the Luhya spokesperson in 2016 when the first Bukhungu declaration was convened.

Mudavadi had been invited to the Friday’s event by the Central Organization of Trade Unions secretary General Francis Atwoli but did not show up.

Bungoma senator Moses Wetang’ula was also invited to the event but he also failed to attend since he was committed in Trans Nzoia.

“Today am meeting Ford Kenya Officials and party candidates in Trans Nzoia to plan for 2022. Thereafter I will attend end year boat racing at number beach in Bwiri ward busia,” Wetang’ula shared on Twitter.

Leaders from Mulembe community had advised the two OKA principals to spare some time to honor the invites and spare some time for the meeting as it would unite the community.

“To my brothers, Mudavadi and Wetang’ula, please come, let us reason together. The greatest change begins at the family table, and Bukhungu is our family reasoning table. Let’s come together and look at the future together and see which path to take,” CS Eugene Wamalwa said.
