Mary Nges is now reaching out for support to overcome financial hurdles and follow her dreams in music. The now viral rappers reveals she is struggling and is therefore, seeking funds to cover studio expenses for recording her own songs, as well as acquiring a camera to produce engaging videos for her online platforms.
Despite her newly acquired fame, Ngesh has not yet reaped substantial financial benefits and has been performing in clubs without compensation to maintain her presence and visibility.
Even though she has gained fame through her viral hit song “Rieng Genje,” the talented artist now finds herself in need of support to sustain her musical journey.
“My main concern is securing funds for studio fees. I have already written songs, but I lack the finances to record them. I am almost on the verge of giving up. I am also appealing for assistance in acquiring a camera,” she narrates some of her biggest challenges.
In an unexpected twist of events, Ngesh has also resumed her previous occupation as a street hawker in the streets of Nairobi.
In a TikTok video posted on her account, the talented artist could be seen selling handbags.
Ngesh shared the clip with her fans, expressing her unwavering determination to continue working hard to earn a decent living, at the same time announcing that new music is soon coming out.
