Eric Omondi has strongly criticized Jaguar, MC Jessy whom he said are greedy and totally confused.
The comedian gave a blanket criticisms of celebrities seeking political office but it clear whose message he was directing to.
Jaguar, MC Jessy, Jalang’o are among celebs who have declared interest to vie political seat in the forthcoming August 8th general election.
Jaguar and MC Jessy have been crying foul after UDA denied them nominations and instead gave their competitors.
Eric Omondi has since come out to criticize celebs fighting to be elected to political office instead of using their God given talents.
“If you are a comedian or a musician, stick to your gift. Stop having stupid thoughts of getting into politics. You are confusing the calling and the gifting of God. Speaking as the president of entertainment, You are confused!” he noted.
He went ahead and insisted that artists should concentrate on their talents not politics for those vying are doing it out of greed.
“If you are a musician sing, if you are a comedian make us laugh. If you go to politics you are a thief. You want to take people’s money. Do not be lied to!” he stated.
When asked whether musicians could work with politicians, he said that they could but not become one.
“Musicians can work with politicians but they can’t be politicians. Musicians, comedians, actors, you are artists. Do not go to parliament. That is gluttony. Pure greed!” said Eric Omondi.
He further insisted that celebrities are being driven by selfish interests in seeking political seats.
“We know what you want. You want money but God can bless you with money.
Eric sentiments had also been echoed by former Machakos First Lady Lillian Nganga who issued a hard-hitting message to celebs seeking political seats.
