Nyasuguta whose real name is Eunice Wambui was beaten to a pulp after an ugly confrontation with an Uber driver.
The Vitimbi actress took to social media on Wednesday May 18th to share photos of the injuries she suffered from the attack.
However, Nyasuguta claimed that she was attacked by a political opponent who is threatened by her.
“I’m unshakeable….unmovable iron lady…stop cheap politics…as long as you leave my SON out of it…bring it on I can handle…I don’t easily give up…!!!” Nyasuguta wrote.
Social media user Anne Rozzie Njeri was however quick to caution netizens that Nyasuguta was lying about the cause of her injuries to score political mileage.
Njeri revealed that the injuries Nyasuguta suffered was as a result of being beaten by an Uber driver three weeks earlier.
She revealed that the Vitimbi actress fought a female driver after failing to pay for some deliveries made to her.
Njeri also said that Nyasuguta reported the matter to Kasarani police station and was only using the photos now to seek sympathy claiming to have been attacked by a political opponent.
“Lie to those who don’t know who you are hizi dents ata sio za saa hii ni za three weeks ago and already you reported to Kasarani police station ile siku ulipigwa na mwanamke wa Uber after she brought stuffs kwako and you failed to pay her,” Anne Rozzie Njeri commented on Nyasuguta’s post.
Njeri further revealed that Nyasuguta failed in the nomination and was not even contesting for a political seat in the August 9th general election.
“Siasa ulianguka nomination and it’s very clear you are not in the ballot stop looking for sympathy,” Njeri wrote.
Nyasuguta was seeking Jubilee party nomination to vie for MCA seat Clay City ward. She was however unsuccessful in her bid to clinch the party’s ticket.
