Alfred Mutua is still jealously holding on to the memories he shared with his ex wife Lillian Nganga for the 10 years they were together.
Mutua was not willing to let Lillian go. He tried in vain to reconcile with her, even resorting to using threats to get back with her.
The breakup ultimately became nasty as Mutua insisted on holding onto Lillian at all costs forcing her to move to court.
Lilian in her affidavit accused Mutua of frustrating her and threatening her life and that of her lover Juliani, she petitioned the court for a restraining order against Mutua.
Mutua and Lillian were married for 10 years but she threw everything away when she met Juliani in June 2021.
The Machakos County Governor has since opened up on the reason why he is still holding on to memories shared with his ex wife.
Speaking in a recent interview, Mutua explained that he is not deleting romantic photos of himself with Lilian because she was brought into his life for a reason even if she was in his life for a season. He noted that he doesn’t see why he should delete the photos they took together on his social media pages.
“This is what I believe in life….that God brings people to your life for whatever period that God chooses and you celebrate the time you spend with those people. Regardless of any bad outcome or falling out, usually, if you spend a long time with anybody, as a friend, as a lover, as a family, the good times are better and more than the bad times.
“You don’t just wash away the good times, you celebrate the good times and you accept the position that God has given you and then you move on to what God will give you next and life continues,” Alfred Mutua explained. he said.
