Popular musician Akothee has narrated her own experience of how teachers bullied her daughters because of her fame.
This is after Nigerian actress Mercy Johnson shared on Instagram that her 8-year old daughter was being harassed by a teacher in school who hates the actress.
Through an Instagram post, the artist revealed that a teacher accused her daughter Fancy Makadia of being illuminati.
The teacher went on to ask other students to stay away from Fancy.
“My daughter @fancy_makadia was accused of being Iluminati and the teacher asked students to stay away from her. Her performance dropped drastically and she would cry a lot when schools opened. I had to change school for her,” Akothee revealed.
Her other two daughters were neither spared from the harassment.
“My other two daughters @rue.baby & @veshashaillan had a teacher who would always refer to me as some lost mother with no direction. He would even ask my kids if I am normal. The second female teacher would just frown by seeing my kids,” Akothee narrated.
“My children finished school till the university with no pregnancy,no misbehavior , as her own child dropped out of school ( so who is a sober parent here),” the singer added.
“Is mercy Johnson even hateable? What would you hate about Mercy for God’s sake ?” Akothee posed.
According to Mercy Johnson, her daughter was terrified to go to school because of the teacher’s intimidation.
“I do not honestly care if someone does not like me, I do not expect everyone to, but take your hate on my child? Unacceptable! A teacher at my child’s school has been bullying my daughter constantly for two whole weeks. She is not her class teacher, yet she shows up in her class everyday to intimidate her,” Mercy shared.
