However, in December 2021, Amina and Kiba openly traded accusations on social media. Apparently after the Bongo singer was discovered to be cheating on her with another woman.

Well, it seems that Amina is tired of her husband’s infidelity as she has moved to court to dissolve her troubled marriage.

The Kenyan has filed for divorce from Alikiba at the Mombasa Kadhis’ Court. The two got married under Islamic Law on April 19th, 2018 in a glamorous Muslim wedding held in Mombasa, and later proceeded to have a white wedding in Dar-es-Salam, Tanzania.

In her affidavit, Amina is petitioning the court to compel Alikiba to pay her a monthly stipend for their two children.

Amina is demanding a Ksh200,000 monthly for the upkeep of their two children. She also wants him to pay for a medical cover for his children.

She accused her estranged husband of not providing any maintenance or prenatal care during her pregnancy and he never cleared hospital bill for the birth of their first child.

“The petitioner (Amina) delivered her first child on February 19, 2019 and as is the tradition of the Muslims remained at her family home for 40 days,” Amina’s petition reads in part.

Amina also indicates in her affidavit that Alikiba has not been consistent in providing for her and their children.
