Lang’ata MP Felix Odiwour alias Jalang’o represented Kenya in the just concluded East Africa Interpaliamentary Games in Juba, South Sudan.
Jalas took to social media to narrate his experience in South Sudan through a series of posts.
“The East Africa Interpaliamentary Games ended last night. Happy and proud that I represented Kenya in the integration of the region through the games,” Jalang’o wrote in part.
He encouraged Kenyan businessmen and women to set up shops in South Sudan, noting that the country was ripe with business opportunities.
“If you are a Kenyan who is business minded please visit South Sudan. Too much opportunities here! South Sudan is peaceful and they are very optimistic that things will get better! Kenyans have already started trooping here in their hundreds so you will always and immediately feel at home! The weather here is unforgivingly hot but you can withstand,” Jalang’0 wrote.
Jalang’o also shared the do’s and don’ts that Kenyans should adhere to while in South Sudan.
“Avoid at all costs talking about the South Sudan government and politics! Avoid! Mind your business at all the time!!” Jalang’o wrote in part.
He further cautioned Kenyan men to steer clear of South Sudanese girls, warning that simple things like seducing the women could land one in big trouble.
“Also completely avoid talking to the native girls! Yes they are very protected and the men here are very jealous! Unless you are redy to marry them with more than 300 to 400 cows on the spot when caught vibing them! I repeat avoid the local native girls! The culture here is very strict and you are just a mistake away from being jailed! Avoid!” Jalang’o warned.
The Lang’ata MP further implored Kenyans the cherish peace noting that the situation in South Sudan was delicate.
