Eric Omondi was supposed to be in Uganda this Friday to host a charity comedy show.
Nameless and Diamond among other big names in the music industry are set to perform in the event.
Taking to his Insta stories, the comedian revealed that he had missed his flight, an encounter he has never had before.
According to him all other flights to Kampala were full and he could only be helped by a good Samaritan who would surrender his seat.
“Never missed a flight before. Missed my flight to Uganda na sasa zimejaa zote si mtu ashuke nipande,” he said.
He went ahead to beg Eddie Butita to come to his rescue.
“Eddie Butita nisaidie private jet ama helicopter. Ama hazikuwa zako?”he said
Earlier, the comedian left Kenyans talking after he shared a video of himself dressed in a suit made from sacks as he headed to Uganda.
Speaking to SPM Buzz, he explained that he decided to dress like that to show the current status of the Kenyan economy.
“Inspiration ni economy. Sikatai ni fashion but pia ni kuonyesha kwamba ni kuonyesha kwamba hatuko sawa. Hata kwa bible wakati watu wanavaa gunia ilikuwa time ya kurepent. Hivi ndio Kenya tuko. “Ni luku sikatai but iko na symbolism” he said.
Eric also revealed that the outfit cost him only Kshs500.
Not only did his dress code cause a buzz online but also the mode of transport that he decided use to the airport.
The funny man rode in a shoelike vehicle.
“UGANDAAA!!!!🇺🇬🇺🇬🇺🇬 Am on my way to the Airport. Why walk in SHOES while you can Drive in them,” he said.
