Gospel singer Ringtone Apoko claims that he is now the record holder of the most handsome artist following the death of gospel singer Ilagosa Wa Ilagosa.
Speaking during Ilagosa’s burial ceremony that was held on Thursday, Ringtone cracked mourners by saying that the Sala Zangu singer was the only musician who would have defeated him in the contest.
“What are you saying. The only person who would have defeated me a little in being handsome is Ilagosa but he is gone. Right now I am the most handsome gospel artist in Africa. Without me other countries will beat you in that . The most handsome musician is me,” Ringtone said.
He also announced plans that would see Ilagosa’s children get boosted financially.
“I have VCDs here I wanted to sell them to get money for Ilagosa’s children. I want to give them to this sister I know she will sell them expensively unlike me so that Ilagosa’s children can be helped. May you be blessed until you get gossiped about,” he concluded his speech.
Ilagosa passed on February 3, 2023. His close friends and family had earlier believed that his death was caused by poisoning.
A section of them reported that he had been poisoned twice by a well known individual and that the poison killed him slowly. A past video of Ilagosa admitting to have been poisoned further fueled the allegations
An autopsy conducted on his body on Monday however revealed that he died due to high blood pressure which saw his heart get enlarged.
