Eric Omondi once again rubbed Kenyan musicians the wrong way because of what he said after Diamond performed at Azimio rally.
The comedian congratulated Diamond for bagging the deal to perform at Azimio’s final rally at Kasarani stadium on Saturday 6.
He further blamed Kenyan musicians for ‘failing to rise to the occasion and take their place’.
“It’s a very sad day for the Kenyan Music Industry. First and foremost let me CONGRATULATE my brother @diamondplatnumz for Continuing to Raise the East African Flag. Kudos bro!!!
“Secondly it says a lot that on this very DEFINITIVE and HISTORIC Moment in our Nation non of our Local Musicians was found Worthy!!! I dont blame anyone but the Musicians!!! Unless our Musicians rise to the occasion and take their place, this will only get worse!!!

Eric’s post attracted the ire of a handful of Kenyan musicians including Khaligraph Jones and Sauti Sol’s Bien.
Khaligraph angrily slammed Eric, questioning why he doesn’t own a Rolls Royce when he knows so much about showbiz.
“Wewe mwenye unapiga showbiz unanunua Rolls Royce yako Siku gani? Sababu Showbiz unapiga nayo ila sielewi mbona showbiz haiambatani na quality ya life ama showbiz ni ya kufurahisha tu watu?,” Khaligraph wrote.
Bien noted that Eric had just to talk after Diamond’s performance. He further claimed that everything about Kenya was wrong.
“Another opportunity to talk shit. I knew you can’t miss this. Everything about this country is wrong. Governance , Education, Corruption lakini wasanii ndio mtaingilia. Take that advice and shove it up your ass. What ground breaking things are you doing? Mark my words. WE WILL RISE AND CONTINUE TO RISE,” Bien wrote.
