“Yes Nafanya Mjengo” Colonel Mustafa Reveals His Mother Is Battling Cancer

Colonel Mustafa is working as a mjengo worker, because he needs money for medical bills and his sustenance.

This comes following the circulation of a video showing him toiling away at a construction site. The revelation has left many feeling a mix of shock and admiration for Colonel Mustafa and his willingness to engage in manual labor to make ends meet.

During a phone interview with Milele FM’s Ankali, the Mustafa spoke openly about his ongoing financial difficulties and the tough reality of having to take on a job at a construction site just to make ends meet.

Colonel Mustafa shared that he hasn’t had any shows or gigs since April 2022, leaving him in a tough spot financially.

Adding to his struggles, Mustafa revealed that his mother is battling cancer and that he is working tirelessly to support her through her treatments, including chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

Deux Vultures

The Colonel first rose to fame during the early 2000s as a member of the musical duo, Deux Vultures. The group churned out hit after hit, including fan favorites like “Kinyaunyau,” “Monalisa,” and “Katika.”

Later on, the musician made an appearance on the reality TV series “Nairobi Diaries,” where he joined forces with fellow rapper Prezzo,Noti Flow and socialites like Pendo, Risper Faith.

However, in a candid interview in 2022, he revealed that he had fallen into a deep depression after the show came to an end.

Nonetheless, he remains hopeful he will overcome his difficulties and emerge stronger than ever before.

Despite these challenges, he remains resilient and determined to persevere through his hardships.
